Dana Batson John, age 46 of Lawrenceville, Ga., died July 10, 2008. She was born in Birmingham but made her home in Snellville, Ga. for the past 24 years. Dana was a dental hygienist prior to moving to Georgia, then worked for GMAC in the Duluth branch for several years. She was a member of Snellville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Marc Alan Johns; daughter, Taylor Elizabeth Johns; son, Brett Alan Johns; mother, Barbara Batson; father, William Batson; sisters, Misty Batson and Christy Ennis; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services were held at Snellville United Methodist Church with Dr. Richard Hunter officiating. Entombment followed at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.
