Road reports show some areas remain icy; most passable

ALDOT has checked state roads in Cullman County: Some patchy ice remains in areas but all state roads in Cullman County are open and passable.

ALDOT crews continue to check I65 to mitigate any problem areas. Travelers are advised to be aware that there could be icy spots and give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination.

 Drivers are advised to be aware that there are areas of ice especially on secondary roads and in areas that are sheltered from the sun and wind. Non-essential travel is discouraged but roads are open and passable if travel is necessary, according to the Cullman County Emergency Management Agency.

The City of Cullman reports Woodland St NE at Highway 31 is still closed as is Woodland St NW at Edgewood Drive.

Hanceville reports roads are in drivable condition.
