2 Cullman residents face drug charges

Two people are facing drug charges after investigations by the Cullman Police Department.
The arrests were made Tuesday.
Lauren Alexandra Harvey, 21, of Cullman, was charged with one count of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) as well as a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a press release from the Cullman Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit.
Harvey was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center and while there she was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was also charged with promoting prison contraband. Harvey has since made bond.
Terry Wayne Thursby Jr., 30, of Cullman, was arrested during a traffic stop. Before pulling to the side of the roadway, officers saw Thursby Jr throw a black case out of the passenger side window of the vehicle. Thee case was recovered and inside was approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia.
Thursby was arrested for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence. Thursby was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where he has since made bond.
