Robert “Bob” Jones, age 91 of Quinton passed away on July 11, 2008. He was a member of Mt. Philadelphia Baptist Church and retired from U.S. Steel after several years of service. Survivors include his daughter, Joyce Faye Shoemaker; granddaughters, Reba Main (John) and Deborah Faye Shoemaker; great-grandchildren, Aaron Nichols, Ryan Main and Anna Main. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Gardendale Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation is from 1 to 2 p.m. today.
