Methamphetamine recovered during a search of a county home.

A Bremen man been charged with intent to distribute a controlled substance after police searched his home.

Donald Holder, 50, was arrested at his residence on County Road 62 on June 15.

The Cullman Police Department Crime Suppression Unit reported finding 24 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a handgun during the search. Holder was wanted on a charge for theft of lost property, third degree.

He was charged with unlawful possession, intent to distribute a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Holder was taken to the Cullman County Detention Center where was booked and later was released.
