Expect a heat index of at least 100 today to go with a high temperature of 91 degrees.

The National Weather Services is giving the Cullman area a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day, decreasing to 30 percent overnight. The low will be 69.

Sunday will again carry a 50 percent change of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10 p.m., while the low will fall to 70.

Monday will again bring showers and thunderstorms at a 70 percent chance both day and night. The highs for much of the week will be in the high 80s.
