Cullman smoke-testing sewer lines; road closing announced
Published 9:12 am Tuesday, June 5, 2018
The Cullman Wastewater Department will be smoke-testing sewer lines in various areas of the city today.
This procedure is used to detect problems in the sewer lines for the city and for customers. Residents or business owners may notice smoke in and around their homes or businesses at this time.
The liquid smoke that is used is environmentally safe, non-toxic and is not harmful. If you notice smoke in or around your home or business, you may call (256) 775-7210.
Street closing: Convent Road, between Sharpton Road and Catoma Drive Northeast, will be closed all day for water line repairs.
