Elaine Fuller came to work more than 30 years at the Cullman County Museum, greeting visitors and locals alike and explaining the history of the area.
After a career that included multiple responsibilities, Fuller is retiring from a role that Cullman City Council member Johnny Cook described as a passion, not a job for the longtime museum director.
A large crowd of well-wishers streamed into the museum Thursday to thank Fuller for her service.
