Weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will be performing testing for pavement assessment from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, and Tuesday, Oct. 30, on Interstate 65 between Exit 351 (U.S. 72 in Athens) and mile marker 359, two miles south of Exit 361 (Thach Road in Elkmont) in Limestone County.

This work will include lane closures in the inside lanes of the northbound and southbound roadways for short durations. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, obey signs and expect brief delays.
