The Cullman County Christmas Parade in Hanceville has been moved to Sunday at 3 p.m. because of predicted heavy rain.

Hosted by the Hanceville Civitan Club, the 29th annual parade will begin at 3 p.m. State Sen. Garlan Gudger, R-Cullman, is grand marshall for the event.

The parade route is from College Drive south on U.S. Highway 31 to Hanceville Fire Station 1, where there will be an open house during the day.

The parade was originally scheduled for Saturday.
