(Update) Flood warning extended until 6:30 p.m.

The Latest: The National Weather Service in Huntsville has extended a flood warning until 6:30 p.m. for Southeast Cullman County.

The Latest: The road near the Lake Catoma spillway in the Larkwood community has been closed. Cullman Police Chief Kenny Culpepper said water had covered the bridge earlier, but had receded. The bridge is closed until further notice.

Cullman County is under a flood warning until 3:15 p.m. according to the National Weather Service in Huntsville.

The Cullman County Emergency Management Agency is warning motorists of roadway flooding.

County Road 1140 has been barricaded.

County Road 1339 is flooded at Lake George

County Road 1427 bridge is under water.
