HOLLY POND — A two-vehicle wreck Thursday morning injured three minors, including one who had to be flown to Huntsville Hospital, and a Holly Pond woman.

Alabama State Troopers said a vehicle driven by a teenage girl from Oneonta collided with another driven by Frances Jackson, 69, of Holly Pond at about 7:13 a.m. on Alabama 91 at County Road 783.

The teen had to be flown to the hospital where she was listed in good condition in the surgical intensive care unit Thursday night, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Her two juvenile passengers, a female from Remlap and male from Pinson, were hurt along with Jackson. All four were wearing seat belts, troopers said.

The wreck temporarily blocked the highway, and one of the victims was entrapped in the vehicle, according to emergency dispatch reports. Holly Pond, Berlin and Walter firefighters responded to the scene.
