Pinson Valley students crash car into house, 1 considered critical

A former student-athlete at Pinson Valley High School has reportedly been left in a coma after a single-car accident on Wednesday night.

Tate Brannan, one of two passengers in last night’s car wreck, was reportedly ejected from the vehicle after it collided with a tree and two houses off Red Hollow Rd. Brannon, a former Pinson Valley wrestler and 2016 graduate, is being treated at UAB Hospital.

Also involved in the accident was Marshall Tanner, a senior on the Pinson Valley baseball team. He is reportedly suffering from a concussion and a separated shoulder, but is not considered to be facing life-threatening injuries. The name of the driver of the vehicle has not been made public at this time, but is believed to be unharmed.
