Timber Trails neighborhood to host block party Monday

Happy belated birthday to Tyler Durden. Tyler celebrated his sixth birthday on May 12.

• Well school is officially out and I guess summer is here.

• Memorial Day is Monday; everyone enjoy a wonderful day off work and some great barbecue.

• Darrell Hubbert called to let me know the Timber Trails neighborhood is hosting a block party Monday in the afternoon on the 1500 block. Music and hotdogs will be provided; please bring your lawn chairs and coolers.

• The history book on Fultondale First Baptist Church and Fultondale is now available for $15. Volunteers will be on hand to sell the book at the church every Monday morning from 10 a.m. to noon and on Thursday afternoons from 1-3 p.m. For more information, contact Jeanette Manning’s at 849-7344 or by e-mail at Topcat521@bellsouth.net or you can contact Melba Dismukes at 841-2277 or Margie Sisson at 841-4724 with any further questions.

• The Fultondale High School Class of 1998 reunion will be held June 7 and 8. Please contact Patricia Peebles at 243-1720 for more info.

• Princess Girlz will be June the 7 at 10 a.m. to noon at New Castle United Methodist Church. We need supplies for sewing. If you would like to make a donation please contact me at 966-6221.
