ASWA RANKINGS: Cullman drops to No. 2 in latest Class 6A poll

Cullman dropped from the top spot in the latest baseball and softball rankings released by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.
The Bearcats (21-6) are now No. 2 behind Helena (24-4) after splitting four games at the USA Baseball National High School Invitational last week and defeating Albertville 9-3 on Tuesday.
The Black and Gold bested Helena 5-0 earlier in the season behind Jacob Heatherly’s no-hitter.
No other local teams received votes in their respective classifications.
