The purple stage lights cast across an enthusiastic crowd gathered for a long evening of country music.

The crowd has been swelling to what may be a record attendance at Rock the South as time draws closer for Luke Bryan’s 11 p.m. performance.

Among the thousands at Heritage Park is a group from Saskatoon, Canada, that came in to enjoy the entire weekend of country music.

Cody Jinks brought the crowd alive with his evening performance as night fell on the park.

Promoters are predicting a two-day crowd of 60,000, which will be the largest in the history of event.
