JOHNSON’S CROSSING — Authorities are investigating what caused the death of a 3-week-old baby found unresponsive at a home Sunday morning, according to reports.
The infant’s name has not been released yet, but Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick confirmed the death is under investigation.
Johnson’s Crossing firefighters were dispatched to assist an unresponsive baby at 10:20 a.m. in the 900 block of County Road 483, according to emergency dispatch reports. CPR was reportedly being performed while crews were on the way.
