The Holly Pond volleyball program picked up an early season sweep on Monday, defeating Hanceville 25-22, 25-10 and J.B. Pennington 25-18, 25-11.

Presley Marks and Taylor Tankersley each had six kills against the Bulldogs. Antonia Bennefield had three aces, three kills and four digs, Taylor Martin had three kills and three blocks, Kara Hollis had 16 assists and three aces, and Shelby Lynn had six digs.

Contributors for the Lady Broncos versus J.B. Pennington were Tankersley, five kills and three aces; Taylor Martin, five kills; Haley Higginbotham, three kills and two blocks; Cassie Carter and Bennefield, four aces apiece; Marks, four kills; Hollis, 16 assists; and Lynn, five digs.
