According to police, Brown and Cindy Reese planned to kill her husband.

In February of 2015, Cindy Reese called police after she said she returned home from grocery shopping and found her husband dead in their home.

Michael Reese died from a gunshot wound, according to court records.

Police arrested Brown and Cindy Reese soon after the shooting and charged them with murder in the case.

Brown’s trial in front of Judge Tommy Nail was scheduled to begin on Tuesday.

Cindy Reese is slated for trial later this year.
