Rachel Davis

Rachel Davis has been appointed general manager of The North Jefferson News, effective immediately. She will continue in her role as editor, as well.

“Rachel’s management talent and commitment to the community make her the optimal leader for The North Jefferson News,” said Steve McPhaul, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc., parent company of The North Jefferson News.

“I am excited to steer our newspaper and portfolio of products during this exciting time in the media industry,” Davis said. “Being north of Birmingham, the market continues to grow, and our commitment is to deliver great print and digital products to our audience, both readers and advertisers.”

A native of Bagley, Alabama, Davis is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
