Auburn D. Barfoot, MSG Ret., age 72 of Fultondale, passed away on July 28, 2008. Mr. Barfoot proudly served in the Army National Guard for 38 years. He was also a member of Warrior Church of God. Funeral services were held at Walker Chapel Funeral Home on July 31 with burial in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens. Brother Raymond Stewart officiated. He was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Barfoot; son, Doug Barfoot. Survivors include his wife, Jean Barfoot; son, John (Vickie) Barfoot; daughter, Jane Ann (Scott) Ingram; grandchildren, Ruby, Chrissy, Steven, Jeffrey and Jeremy. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Parkinson’s National Organization or The American Heart Association.
