The Morris Beauti-fication Board will have an open house and membership drive in February. I will have more info at a later date. The first meeting will be held sometime in March. The board is looking for new members so anyone interested, please contact Betty Wood at 647-0730. They are also looking for history on the City of Morris, so if there is anyone who may have any old history, you can also contact Betty.

• Happy 12th birthday to Braxton Barnwell on Dec. 12. Happy 14th birthday to Brandon Brindley on Dec. 13.

• North Jefferson Middle School Band had their Christmas concert on Tuesday and it went wonderfully. We appreciate all the family and friends who attended. Thanks to Mr. Wilson and Mr. Cagle for all you do for our children.
