The Warrior Police Department will attempt to obtain warrants today on an Oneonta man who led them on a chase early Friday morning.

Police said they were attempting to question William Shiloh Hunter, 21, regarding a complaint that he had threatened a resident just after 2 a.m.

Hunter allegedly got in a car and fled from police, first down I-65, then off Exit 275, before wrecking his car in Gardendale on Highway 31 and fleeing on foot, police said.

Hunter is not believed to be armed and a passenger in the car was not injured in the accident. Anyone with information on his location is asked to call their local police department or Warrior Police at 647-0521.
