Want to find an Easter egg? Here’s some hunts happening this weekend

Local veterans are continuing a long-time Easter tradition this weekend.

Members of American Legion Post 255 in Fultondale, along with the city of Fultondale, are hosting the 13th annual Easter egg hunt at Black Creek Park on Saturday.

The hunt begins at 10 a.m. Free drinks and hot dogs will be provided. There will also be a total of $500 in prizes. For more information, call 490-6504 or 368-3169.

The city of Warrior is also scheduled to host an Easter egg hunt Saturday at 2 p.m. at Warrior City Park’s Hallmark Field.

Refreshments will be provided, and participants will have a chance to receive prizes. The Regional Library and Arts Center will present a balloon artist at the egg hunt.

In Gardendale, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, 4-6 p.m. There will be games, arts and crafts, food, drinks and door prizes.
