Vinemont’s Kayden Henderson was voted Athlete of the Year by Class 3A, Region 5 coaches this week.

Henderson recorded 69 carries for 463 yards and seven touchdowns offensively. He also pitched in 38 solo tackles, 27 assisted tackles, 10 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles and three interceptions on defense.

Tucker Robinson (TE), Rylan McRae (H), Levi Burch (OL), Roman Romero (OL), Jonny Valerio (DL), Brandon Johnson (LB), Rush Sandlin (LB) and Hayden Robinson (DB) comprised the first-team picks on this year’s All-Region Team. Reese Foell (TE), Josh Rhodes (RB), Nic Jankowski (OL), Dalton Bryan (DL) and Jake Hale (DL), meanwhile, secured honorable mention recognition.
