A man was killed this morning in a single motorcycle accident on Sardis Road near Hidden Creek close to Warrior.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to scene just before 6:20 a.m. 

A caller reported that he had come upon the accident and the motorcycle driver was injured.

Deputies and paramedics responded to the call. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

After notifying next of kin, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Charles Mark Lindsey, 55, of Warrior.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the accident.
