Katy Larae Harrington of Cullman has been awarded an academic scholarship and honors scholarship by the University of North Alabama.

Harrington graduated seventh in her class at Fairview High School. Her student involvement at Fairview High School included membership in the National Honor Society, Student Council, InSPIRESS Team 1 at Fairview.

An incoming freshman at UNA, Harrington is the daughter of Lisa Harrington and Darrell Harrington.
