As originally reported in this story by The North Jefferson News, Kloet was first charged after she took jewelry from the original incident to Jeff Dennis Jewelers in Gardendale to be sold. Sheriff’s investigators later determined that some of the jewelry sold to Dennis did not belong to the first victim.

After investigators created a list of former clients of Kloet, they contacted one in Blount County, who said that the items belonged to him and his girlfriend.

An additional count of first-degree receiving stolen property has been filed, with an additional $10,000 bond amount.
