The Gardendale Civic Center will be a hive of activity this weekend as organizers host one of the largest events in north Jefferson County.

The North Arts Council is hosting its annual Spring Craft Show Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 70 arts and crafts booths will be set up throughout the civic center. Door prizes will be given every hour. The Easter Bunny will be on hand Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for photos, which are $10 each.
