Devne Daniel drove in a run with a double in his only official at-bat; he also walked and scored a run. Huff was 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored, and Cole Lepchitz was 2-for-2; he scored in the first inning when he swiped home plate on a double steal.

Nesmith lasted just three innings on the mound after giving up seven runs, six hits and five walks.

Corner evens its season record at 11-11, and 2-0 in area play. They head to Gulf Shores for the Coast Classic II tournament, where they will take on Alexandria at 11:30 a.m. Monday.
