The Cullman Regional Foundation will honor area volunteers and healthcare providers who have gone above and beyond to serve their community at the annual Gala XXIV Saturday, April 26.
Those being recognized are H.C. Arnold Humanitarian Award honoree, Tim Culpepper; the Dr. Herman C. Ensor Excellence in Heath Care honoree, Charna Brown; McAfee Commitment To A Cause Honoree, Dr. George Lyrene; and the Spirit of Volunteerism Honoree, Stephanie Jowers.
“The annual event recognizes individuals who have played a significant role in advancing healthcare for our community through Cullman Regional,” said Cullman Regional Foundation President, Amy Wood.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Venue at Cotton Creek, the Gala’s theme is Old Florida and will feature dinner and silent and live auctions. Service Guild members, under the leadership of President Amanda Knappenberger, help with the organization of the Gala. Annual fundraising events, such as the Gala, give community members an opportunity to become more involved in local philanthropy.
The event will host live entertainment by the Rock Candy Band and a dinner catered by JW Steakhouse.
