At approximately 6:36 p.m., Friday, April 4, 2025, the Cullman Police Department responded to a hit-and-run crash involving a Dodge Ram pickup and a Chevy Malibu.

According to a statement from CPD, “the Dodge Ram later struck another vehicle and fled, prompting officers to initiate a pursuit. The chase began at Loring Street N.W. and U.S. 31, during which the suspect collided with a CPD investigator’s vehicle at Main Avenue and 3rd Street. The pursuit ended when the suspect crashed into a wall adjacent to Modernistic Printer’s.”

The suspect was transported to a local hospital due to injuries sustained from the crash. No officers were harmed. Law enforcement officials suspect alcohol as a contributing factor. The incident remains under investigation and charges are pending.
