FCCLA All-County Chocolate Cook-off winners announced

FCCLA students from the various city and county schools met at the Cotton Creek Venue Feb. 25, for the Cullman County FCCLA Chocolate Cook-off. Roy Drinkard Properties, Flavors Bakery and Duchess Bakery sponsored the prizes for the students.  FCCLA students could enter one of the three categories: chocolate desserts, chocolate cakes and chocolate pies.

In the dessert category, Aubrey Murphy from Cullman High School placed first, Macie Garmon from CATA placed second, Rebecca Baggett from Cold Springs placed third and Lilley Warren Holly Pond placed fourth.

In the cakes category, Alissa McCaig from Vinemont placed first, Reese Guthrie from West Point placed second, Emma Elliott from Good Hope placed third and Lily Powel from Vinemont High place fourth.

In the pie category, Bentley Childers from Hanceville placed first, Baylee Mckendree from Cold Springs placed second, Abigail Greer from West Point placed third and Izzy Howell from Cold Springs High placed fourth.

Advisers and schools participating were Stephanie Blair from Cold Springs High School, Amie Veal from Cullman Area Technology Academy, Carin Rains from Cullman High School, Amanda Williams from Good Hope High School, Amy Chambers from Hanceville High School, Amelia Burke from Holly Pond High School, Renee Lee from West Point High School and Madison Sapp from Vinemont High School.
