Karolewics testifies before House appropriations subcommittee focusing on workforce development

Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04), Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health & Human Services and Education, today recognized the testimony of Wallace State Community College President Dr. Vicki Karolewics during a hearing focused on workforce development.
The hearing, titled Career Ready Students: Innovations from Community Colleges and the Private Sector, examined how community colleges and industry partners are preparing students for high-demand careers.
“Dr. Karolewics provided valuable insight into Wallace State’s workforce training initiatives, highlighting the college’s success in equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in today’s job market,” read a statement from Aderholt’s office.
“Dr. Karolewics’ testimony underscored the critical role community colleges play in strengthening our workforce and preparing students for successful careers,” Aderholt said. “Wallace State is a shining example of how institutions can partner with business and industry to develop programs that meet real-world demands. I appreciate her leadership and commitment to workforce education.”
