Love will be in the air at Wallace State Community College on Thursday, Feb. 13 when the Fine and Performing Arts program presents its annual Broadway Night at 7 p.m. in the Burrow Center Recital Hall.

Love: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly will showcase the talents of Wallace State students as they present a student-led production themed around the highs and lows of relationships. Fine and Performing Arts students lead the production each year, choosing the songs they will sing and creating choreography for each. Focusing on the theme of love, the performances will mostly consist of duets.

“Preparing for this upcoming performance has been an incredible journey for our students,” said Tiffany Richter, director of the Wallace State vocal ensembles. “When selecting songs, we focused on pieces that not only showcase their vocal abilities but also resonate emotionally with both the performers and the audience. Choosing the right singing partners was crucial; we paired students whose voices complement each other and who share a natural chemistry on stage. As for choreography, we aimed to create movements that enhance the storytelling of each duet, ensuring that every performance is visually captivating and emotionally engaging. I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication our students have put into this production, and I can’t wait for everyone to see the magic they’ve created.”
