LOCAL SPORTS: Cullman’s Dorough named Athlete of the Week

Jake Dorough put Cullman’s varsity boys basketball team on his back this past week.

The Black and Gold standout scored 21 points against Jasper, 23 points against Locust Fork and 19 points against Fultondale — all team-highs — to lead the Bearcats to three victories. 

The senior also dished out 17 assists across those three games.

He is The Times’ Athlete of the Week.
