Locals named to honors lists

For fall semester 2024, 587 University of Alabama Early College students were on the Director’s List obtaining a 3.6 or higher GPA for the term. Local students include: Brylee Bishop of Baileyton, Brooke Harding of Arab and Alex Nacilla of Cullman.

Helen Lewis, of Cullman, has earned a place on Furman University’s dean’s list for the 2024 fall semester. Furman’s dean’s list is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system. Lewis’ parents are Helen Lewis and Brandon Lewis.

This past fall, Joshua Roe of Arab was named to Presbyterian College’s President’s List for earning a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Roe was also named to the college’s Dean’s List for earning a 3.5 to 3.9 grade point average for the Fall 2024 semester. Joining Roe was Caden Barnett of Vinemont. PC was founded in 1880 by the Rev. William Plumer Jacobs in the city of Clinton in the foothills of South Carolina.

Cullman’s Joshua E. Bartle, received High Honors for the University of Tennessee at Martin fall semester. Students can make the high honors list with a 3.5 through 3.79 GPA.
