The Cullman County Basketball Tournament continued Thursday night with a trio of matchups.

No. 1 Cold Springs 51, No. 4 West Point 33

The Eagles seized command in the first half on Thursday en route to a semifinal victory over the Warriors.

Cold Springs trailed 15-14 in the second quarter but closed the frame on an 11-0 run, and rode strong defense and 3-point shooting to ultimately pull away.

The Eagles will face No. 2 Good Hope or No. 3 Fairview for the county title on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

Varsity Girls

No. 1 Good Hope 53, No. 4 Fairview 35

The Raiders rode a late surge to a semifinal win over the Aggies on Thursday.

Fairview cut its deficit to six points late in the third quarter, but Good Hope closed the game with a 21-9 spurt to advance.

The Raiders will face No. 3 West Point on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in search of their fourth straight county title.

Varsity Girls

No. 3 West Point 63, No. 2 Vinemont 48

The Warriors avenged an early season loss to the Eagles on Thursday to advance to the title tilt.

West Point relied on its size advantage to attack the rim and slowly stretch out a second-half lead against Vinemont.

The Warriors will face No. 1 Good Hope on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. seeking their first county championship since 2020.
