The Cullman County Basketball Tournament is in full swing at Wallace State.

Junior Varsity Boys

No. 1 West Point 51, No. 4 Fairview 41

The Warriors withstood a second-half surge by the Aggies on Monday to advance to the championship game.

Fairview trimmed its deficit to four points in the second half after trailing 31-17 at intermission, but West Point ultimately prevailed.

The Warriors will now face No. 2 Cold Springs or No. 3 Good Hope on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Varsity Girls

No. 2 Vinemont 62, No. 7 Hanceville 32

The Eagles rolled into the semifinals following a dominant victory over the Bulldogs on Monday.

Vinemont scored 26 first-quarter points to grab command early and forced numerous turnovers throughout to pull away.

The Eagles will now face No. 3 West Point or No. 6 Cold Springs on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Varsity Boys

No. 4 Holly Pond 53, No. 5 Hanceville 44

The Broncos used a strong fourth quarter on Monday to storm past the Bulldogs and into the semifinals.

Holly Pond trailed by six points entering the final period but outscored Hanceville 22-7 during those eight minutes to prevail.

The Broncos will now face No. 1 West Point on Friday at 6:15 p.m.

Varsity Girls

No. 4 Fairview 43, No. 5 Holly Pond 36

The Aggies knocked off the Broncos in a defensive battle on Monday to advance to the semifinals.

Holly Pond put together a fourth-quarter spurt to send the game into overtime, but Fairview stood stall in the extra period thanks to some timely free-throw shooting.

The Aggies will face No. 1 Good Hope on Thursday at 6:15 p.m.
