LOCAL SPORTS: Cold Springs’ Dickerson named Athlete of the Week

Ella Dickerson is heating up for her team at the right time.
The Cold Springs junior produced two terrific outings this past week, scoring 24 points against Falkville and 33 points against Winston County to help lead the Eagles to a pair of area victories.
Dickerson went a combined 22 of 36 from the floor, drilled nine 3-pointers against Winston County and tossed in 14 rebounds, five assists and two steals across the two contests.
She is The Times’ Athlete of the Week.
