The arrival of the Christmas season means a month filled with tons of kids’ activities at the North Alabama Agriplex, where December comes with a stockingful of hands-on educational fun.

There’s a seasonal activity for every age among the Cullman-based nonprofit’s slate of learning opportunities this month, including resin and embroidery ornament crafting classes for students from grades 6-12, as well as a take-home, do-it-yourself wintertime terrarium project for younger students.

Storytime activities in December will focus on a whimsical kids’ tale from author Jan Brett, along with a folktale session that draws arts and crafts inspiration from traditional winter-season stories told all around the world. Adults can get in on the holiday fun this month too, crafting their own handmade keepsake wreath using Cullman County grapevine.
