A single-vehicle crash has claimed the life of a Hanceville man.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, at approximately 3:25 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, Jeffrey Horton, 63, was killed when the 2008 Ford F350 that he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Horton was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on Cullman County 648 near Cullman County 649, approximately 10 miles south of Hanceville. Nothing further is available as troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
