Two of Harper’s scoring scampers came in the first half. Carson Jones also found the end zone — as did Zayden Cruce after hauling in a touchdown pass from Kolt Redding — to give the Aggies a 28-6 halftime advantage.

Redding booted a field goal late in the fourth quarter and Harper followed shortly afterward with his final touchdown of the game to seal the deal.

“We probably didn’t have our best night, but we hung in there and played hard,” Fairview coach George Redding said. “Sardis did some things that caused us issues, so this is definitely a game to learn from, and hopefully, get better from. But I’m proud of them for finding a way to get a win.”

Fairview returns to region play next week with a home game against East Limestone.
