The Cullman County Board of Education handled personnel matters — including employee stipends, terminations, transfers and resignations — at its most recent meeting.
On, Thursday, July 11, the board:
— Approved the termination of Child Development Center probationary bus driver Bradley Peppers be terminated.

— Approved to pay a $2,532 stipend to Leah Drauch for managing districtwide math teams, Christine O’Leary for managing districtwide Scholar’s Bowl teams and Jena Mayo for managing districtwide robotics teams.
— Approved to pay Mark Adams (Hanceville High) and Kimberly Whitman ( West Point Intermediate) a $1,500 stipend for managing library media specialist software.
— Approved to pay Tyson Watwood a $500 monthly supplement for additional duties beyond contract.
— Approved to pay Kayla Manning a $1,500 stipend for marketing/social media additional duties.
— Approved the request from Good Hope High School to pay Scott Adams $800 and Mitchell Morris $600 for summer basketball duties.
— Approved the request from Holly Pond High School to pay Michael Bates $2,5000 for field maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the football facilities.
— Approved the request from West Point Middle School to pay Jon Farley $2,200 for waxing the floors.
— Approved the following probationary principal contracts: Brian Brown, Good Hope High School; Christopher Chamblee, Vinemont Middle School; Trett Hardman, CDC; Elizabeth Watwood, Hanceville Middle School.
— Extended the remaining principal contracts and TEAMS contracts.
— Approved the out of state field trip request from the Hanceville Middle School volleyball team to attend a team camp in Murfreesboro, Tennessee July 22.
— Approved the out of state field trip request from the Hanceville High School volleyball team to attend a team camp in Murfreesboro, Tennessee July 26.
— Approved the request from the Transportation Director to accept the Bid from Virgil B. Fowler Insurance Company for Automobile/Fleet Insurance.
— Approved the request from the Transportation Director to accept the Bid from Insurance and Investment Consultants, Inc. for School Day/Athletic Insurance.
— Approved the request from the Transportation Director to accept and board approved the bid from The McPherson Companies, Inc. for gasoline and diesel fuel.
— Announced it would hold a capital planning meeting at the central office prior to the next scheduled board meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15.
