- James Curtis, Director of CEMS Ambulance Services and board members Tuesday afternoon.
Cullman Emergency Medical Services will be getting a new ambulance thanks to a donation from the Cullman Regional Foundation. After the Foundation’s Board of Trustees’ meeting Tuesday, members announced the $150,000 donation.
“The generous giving of the community and fundraising efforts from the Gala (Cullman Regional Foundation) have allowed for the donation,” said Cullman Regional Foundation President, Dr. Matt Dellinger. “The Cullman Regional Foundation is proud to have a role in advancing healthcare for our community.”
The board and Cullman Regional Service Guild members help with fundraising efforts and fundraising events to allow individuals to become more involved in local philanthropy.
“The Cullman Regional Foundation is a non-profit organization, separate from Cullman Regional that seeks to assist, advance and strengthen Cullman Regional in its mission of providing excellent healthcare, health education and other humanitarian endeavors,” said Foundation Executive Director, Maria Stanford.
The Foundation conducts fundraising for a variety of special needs, projects and programs at Cullman Regional. Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible for donors as allowed by IRS rules.
