City of Cullman’s cultural scene recognized

For the first time, the city of Cullman has been ranked third on USA Today’s list of Best Small Town Cultural Scenes.

“Being ranked third by USA Today is a remarkable accomplishment for our city and a testament to the vibrant cultural scene that thrives within our community,” Mayor Woody Jacobs said in a press release. “Cullman has long been a hidden gem, and this recognition shines a spotlight on our rich heritage, diverse attractions and thriving cultural events.”

In the release, officials tout Cullman’s cultural scene “as diverse as it is dynamic, with a flourishing community, renowned festivals and a deep appreciation for heritage and tradition. From live music performances to world class German festivals, culinary delights to historical tours, Cullman offers something for every cultural enthusiast.”

“This recognition is not just about our past achievements,” said Jacobs, “it’s about the promising future that lies ahead. Cullman’s cultural scene is continuously evolving, thanks to the passion and creativity of our residents and the unwavering support of our community. We are committed to building upon this success and ensuring that Cullman remains a cultural destination for years to come.”

In the statement, city officials extended its gratitude to USA Today for the acknowledgment and to those “who have contributed to shaping Cullman’s vibrant cultural landscape.”
