Cullman’s Bennett Johnson and Fysher Dahlke dazzled on the mound Monday night, combining for a no-hitter in a 6-0 road win against Homewood.

Johnson started the contest for the Bearcats, scattering eight strikeouts and four walks over 3 1/3 frames. Dahlke then came on in relief for the final 3 2/3 innings, striking out four batters — including the last — to punctuate the achievement.

Colter Bowen, Wyatt Buchanan and Carson Stancil registered two hits apiece for Cullman, which claimed its fourth victory in the past five games. Tanner Gaines (RBI), Jonah Inman (RBI), Cooper Loftin, Brooks Heatherly and Johnson rounded out the offensive performance with one hit apiece.
