A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, has claimed the life of a Vinemont man.

According troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division, Brian K. Baudier, 50, was critically injured when the 2002 Toyota Celica that he was driving left the roadway and struck a culvert. Baudier, who was not utilizing his seat belt at the time of crash, was transported to Cullman Regional, where he later died from tohis injuries. The crash occurred on Cullman County 1435 near Cullman County 1355, approximately three miles east of Vinemont. Nothing further is available as (ALEA) continues to investigate.
