While attempting to direct school traffic Tuesday morning, officers with the Cullman City Police Department were interrupted by the presence of two canines. Public Relations Officer with the CCPD Sergeant Adam Clark told The Times that officers were nearly bitten several times by one of the canines during attempts to subdue them. The dogs were “chemically subdued” through the use of a “dart gun” at Stiefelmeyer Park where both were apprehended and then returned to their owner.
