Followers of the Bass Pro Tour might notice an unexpected line up change among the professional anglers competing in the week long stage three tournament this week.

In a media advisory Charity Muehlenweg, Senior Manager or Public Relations for the Major League Fishing Association, said “Due to unforeseen circumstances, two MLF pros have swapped group’s at the week’s Bass Pro Tour Favorite Fishing Stage Three on Lewis Smith Lake Presented by Mercury.  Pro Mark Davis of Mount Ida, Arkansas, who was previously in Group A, has switched to Group B and will be fishing the Qualification Rounds Thursday and Saturday. Pro Edwin Evers of Talala, Oklahoma, who was previously in Group B, has switched to Group A and will be fishing the Qualification Rounds on Wednesday and Friday.”

For those with Evers or Davis on their Fantasy Fishing rosters, need not to worry about making changes.  The players will remain on your roster regardless of their assigned groups.

The tournament, hosted by Cullman Parks, Recreation and Sports Tourism, Cullman County Parks and Recreation and Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce, will have 80 anglers in total competing for a payout of $100,000 being awarded to the top fisherman, and a total purse in excess of $800,000.

Anglers will launch each day at 7:30 a.m. from Smith Lake State Park, with the Tire Takeout being held at 4:30 p.m.
